What the consistency rule checks
Find your best day
The rule looks at your single largest profitable day (or trade, depending on the firm).
Compare it to total profit
Best day divided by total profit must stay at or below the firm's limit, for example 30% or 50%.
Fix a breach with more profit
Profit made on days smaller than your best day lowers the ratio. Trading bigger than your best day does not.
Check your firm's rulebook: some firms measure against net profit, others against winning days only. Some apply the rule per day, others per trade, and some only on funded or payout stages. Rules and percentages change, so confirm the exact wording with your firm before relying on this result.
