Trading Session Converter
All major sessions in your time.
Forex sessions open and close at fixed local times in Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York, so the hour on your clock changes with daylight saving. Pick your time zone to see exactly when each session opens, closes and overlaps for you.
Your settings
Choose the time zone you want the sessions shown in and the date to check.
Edit session hours
Hours are in each city's own local time. Defaults are a common convention, not an official rule.
Why session times move on your clock
Sessions use local city time
Sydney, Tokyo, London and New York sessions are tied to the local hours in each city, not to a fixed UTC hour.
Daylight saving shifts them
Australia, the UK and the US change their clocks on different dates, while Japan does not change at all, so the overlaps shift during the year.
Convert to your time zone
The tool converts each open and close to your time zone and marks anything that falls on the next or previous day.
Good to know: the forex market is closed on weekends, so sessions shown for a Saturday or Sunday will not trade. Session hours are a common convention and not an official rule. Liquidity, spreads and your broker's server time can differ, so confirm trading hours with your broker before relying on these times.
