Feature-Rich Prop Firm with Attractive Rules but High Payout and Compliance Risk
Goat Funded Trader is a Hong Kong-based proprietary trading firm established in 2022. Its current programmes include 1-Step, 2-Step Standard, 2-Step GOAT, 3-Step and Goat Blitz. The headline rules are attractive: no consistency rule on the main programmes, static maximum drawdown on several models, XAUUSD and scalping support, EA usage with restrictions, weekend holding and profit splits that can reach 100% through an add-on. However, the firm currently carries high hidden risk. Trustpilot has made the rating unavailable after a guideline breach and says fake reviews were removed. Recent reviews contain a large number of payout-denial complaints involving alleged coordinated trading, copy trading, VPS usage, hedging and news violations. These are customer allegations and should not be treated as proven misconduct, but the frequency makes them an important risk signal for traders.
