CHARTSCALPING VERDICT

Swedish Prop Firm with Flexible Trading Rules and Strong EA Support but Elevated Reputation and Counterparty Risk

Nordic Funder is a Sweden-based proprietary trading programme with roots going back to Scandinavian Capital Markets and a funded-trader programme launched in 2021 before being rebranded as Nordic Funder. Its current product range is significantly broader than its older programme: staged FX & CFD accounts include One-Step, Two-Step, Three-Step, One-Step Lite and Two-Step Lite, while separate Crypto, Equities and Instant Funding Lite tracks are also available. The current One-Step FX & CFD programme has a 10% profit target, 6% trailing maximum drawdown and 5% EOD daily loss limit. Two-Step uses 10% + 5% targets, 8% static maximum drawdown and 4% EOD daily loss, while Three-Step uses 5% + 5% + 5% targets, 5% static maximum drawdown and 5% EOD daily loss. Profit share is 80% standard and can be increased to 90% with the profit-share add-on. The first withdrawal has no delay and subsequent payouts run every 14 days. Nordic Funder explicitly permits traders own EAs and algorithms on every account without an approval process or surcharge, although HFT, latency arbitrage, stale-price/tick scalping and coordinated cross-account strategies are prohibited. Weekend holding is available as an add-on, but only cryptocurrencies actually trade during the weekend. The biggest concern is reputation and counterparty risk rather than the headline trading rules. Trustpilot currently shows only 56 reviews with a 3.2/5 TrustScore, 77% five-star and 14% one-star reviews, with only two reviews in the last 12 months. There are also negative reviews connected to the former Tradiac business and complaints concerning payout conditions and account-rule enforcement. Therefore Nordic Funder can be attractive for disciplined traders and EA users, but I would classify its hidden risk as High until there is a much larger and more recent independent payout/reputation record.
