Established Multi-Asset Prop Firm with Strong Scaling Potential but High Compliance Risk
The Trading Pit is an established proprietary trading company founded in 2022 and headquartered in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, offering both CFD/Forex and Futures evaluation programmes. Its current CFD structure includes Prime and Classic products, while Futures offers Prime and Classic programmes. CFD accounts generally use a 4% daily drawdown and 7% maximum drawdown on the current scaling structure, with profit targets and profit shares varying by account size and product. The current CFD scaling ladder can reach $5M, with the highest levels offering up to 80% profit share. News trading is permitted on CFD accounts up to $50K, while $100K and $200K CFD accounts prohibit opening trades within 2 minutes before or after high-impact news. Scalping is permitted on Prime CFD, but trades generally must remain open for at least one minute and HFT is prohibited. EAs are allowed when they are genuinely the trader’s own and do not perform prohibited arbitrage, tick scalping, trade copying or platform manipulation. The major weakness is the firms relatively broad risk/compliance discretion. Trustpilot currently has no public rating because of a guideline breach and says fake reviews were removed; recent reviews include both fast-payout reports and serious complaints involving payout denial, account closure, execution/data issues and risk-review decisions. These complaints are allegations rather than independently established findings, but they materially increase the firms hidden-risk score.
